Once upon a time, a guy named Chris Miles, aka 'deadstick' on RIMROAD shook the BlackBerry community by releasing what is now considered to be one of the first popular open-source BlackBerry software programs, the BlackBerryTools suite.

The entire BlackBerryTools suite was taken offline by Chris Miles approximately April 17th, 2005 when he discovered there was a minor trademark conflict with just one of the utilities.

(The trademark conflict has since been resolved, don't worry)

Upon protest by the community, and popular demand, several forum members from multiple BlackBerry forum websites (www.rimroad.com and www.BlackBerryForums.com) sleuthed the Internet for remants of source code and binaries. Several of us succeeded in resurrecting the source code and binaries. You know who you are. Thank you very much!

Mark Rejhon made some minor modifications to this source code on April 20th, 2005 to satisfy trademark naming issues, before being re-released to the public.
